Activities

The activities conducted by the Library during the year are given below.

a. Information Literacy Programmes for the undergraduate and postgraduate students.

b. Exhibition of Books & Posters:

a) On Independence : 12-13 August 2010
b) ,, Mahatma Gandhi : 1 October 2010
c) ’’ Republic of India : 24-25 January 2011

c. National Library Week Celebration 2010 : Exhibition and sale of books was conducted during 10-11 November 2010.

d. Readers Forum The formal inauguration of the activities of the Readers Forum 2010-11 was done by Sri. K.T. Soopy, renowned Malayalam Poet on 06/10/2010. Mr. K. Abdul Rashid of M.A. History IIIrd Sem. made a presentation of the book entitled ‘Roomiyude Aakasam’ written by K.T. Soopy. Ms.V. Basima Shahana Muhammed IV th Sem. B.Sc. Zoology made a presentation of the book entitled ‘BSv PohnXw’ written by Benymin.
